What are personalised photo magnets?
Personalised photo magnets are magnets made from your own photos. Moment Mates turns your favourite images into 5 x 5 cm square photo magnets, made in New Zealand.
What size are the magnets?
Each magnet is 5cm x 5cm and printed in a square format.
How many photo magnets do I get?
You choose! Our pack sizes include 9, 18, 27 or 36 magnets. We can create larger collections if you wish; please get in touch directly.
What kind of photos work best?
Bright, clear, high-resolution photos work best. Avoid very dark or low-quality images. If there are any issues, we’ll contact you before printing.
Can I use photos from my phone?
Yes. You can upload your favourite photos directly form your phone when placing your order. For the best results, choose clear, well lit photos.
Can I crop my photos?
Yes - you can crop your photos after uploading them. If your photo isn’t already square, we’ll carefully crop it into a square before printing to best fit the magnet size.
Where are Moment Mates photo magnets made?
Moment Mates is a small New Zealand business, and our photo magnets are printed and made in Auckland, New Zealand.
Ordering
How do I order personalised photo magnets?
Choose your photos, upload them with your order on our website and we'll turn them into personalised 5 x 5 cm photo magnets. We'll print and make your magnets before sending your finished order to you.
Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
Email us as soon as possible at hello@momentmates.co.nz, and we’ll do our best to help.
Can you create magnets in bulk?
Yes — they’re perfect for weddings, events, or corporate gifts.

Can I send the magnets as a gift?
Yes — they make a thoughtful, personal gift for grandparents, weddings, new babies, birthdays, and anniversaries.
Simply enter the recipient’s name and shipping address at checkout.
Are the photo magnets a good gift for grandparents?
Yes. Photo magnets are a personal way to turn family photos into something grandparents can see every day. You could create a collection of grandchildren, family celebrations, holidays or everyday moments.
Shipping
How long does it take?
Orders are made within 1–3 business days. Delivery times then vary depending on your location:
- New Zealand: 1 - 3 business days (3 - 6 rural)
- Australia: 4 - 10 business days
You'll receive tracking as soon as your order is on its way
How much does shipping cost?
New Zealand: $6.50 standard shipping
Australia: approx. $12.50 AUD standard shipping
Free shipping on NZ orders over $135
Please note: Australian shipping is charged in NZD and may vary slightly due to exchange rates.
Do you ship internationally?
At this stage, we ship within New Zealand and Australia only.
Can I track my order?
Yes — once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.
